Dr Jyotis Pothen Raju is a specialist in Immunohematology and blood transfusion. He did his MBBS JIPMER, Pondicherry which is an autonomous Institute of National Importance. He finished his post-graduation training from JIPMER, Pondicherry where the Blood Centre has annual collection of more than 12,000 units of blood and around 30-40 Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant harvest along with other specialized apheresis procedures. He received training in HLA and Transplant Immunology from CMC, Vellore as part of his post graduate training. He is a skilled and experienced in all practical aspects of Transfusion Medicine. He has special interest in advanced Immunohematological workups of complex cases and apheresis.
