Stroke Rehabilitation and Care of Elderly at Home

Abstract

Comprehensive rehabilitation is essential to improve the functional outcome post stroke. This article reviews the deficits in different areas and rehabilitative interventions to improve the ability of the patient. Care of the elderly including the importance of safe ambulation and independent performance of ADL (Activities of Daily Living) is also dealt with.
