Eccrine Mucinous Carcinoma : A Rare Indication for ER Estimation and Tamoxifen Therapy ? – A Case Report

Abstract

A 65 year old gentleman presented with a swelling just below his left eye for which a biopsy had been done that showed eccrine mucinous lesion. He underwent wide excsion and reconstruction with adequate margins confirmed by frozen section. the diagnosis was confirmed in the final histopathology examination. As the tumor was ER positive, he was put on Tamoxifen 20 mg per day. He is event free on the last follow up done 44 months after the definitive surgery.
