We are proud to offer the DrNB (Neurology) Super Specialty Program, designed to produce exceptional neurologists. Our expert faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and research opportunities ensure a comprehensive learning experience. Institute of Neurosciences at Baby Memorial Hospital is first comprehensive neuro centre in North Kerala with broad range of subspecialities. The Institute of Neurosciences has a perfect mix of expertise and technology. The “Neurointervention & stroke” (also known as Interventional Neurology / Endovascular Neurosurgery), is a subspecialty of Neurosciences specialises in advanced minimally invasive techniques used for the treatment of stroke and complex neurovascular diseases of the brain and spine. We take a multidisciplinary approach in diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions at the department, providing individual care to patients with diseases such as stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, sleep disorders, and tumors of the brain, spine and nerves. The specialists at the department provide promising medical care to adult and paediatric patients for neurological disorders with the help of highly enhanced technologies.

Eligibility
  • MD/DNB in General Medicine or Pediatrics
  • Qualified in NEET-SS or equivalent entrance exam

Admission Process
  • Admission through centralized counselling conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on the basis of NEET-SS score
  • Counselling and seat allocation
  • Document verification and admission

Accreditation: National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) NBEMS qualifications have been recognized as per provisions of the section 37 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019. The equivalence of NBEMS qualifications with the corresponding MD/MS or DM/MCh qualifications awarded under the ambit of NMC has also been defined in the above mentioned NMC Act.
