Dr Anu Mary Thomas is a senior consultant in Anaesthesiology. She was trained in liver transplantation anaesthesia at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi and has been awarded Fellowship in Liver Transplant Anaesthesia after one year of training at the institute. She is a trained liver transplant anaesthesiologist who managed anaesthesia of 30 liver transplantations. She also has experience in the anaesthesia of paediatric liver transplantation, simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplantation, other organ transplantations, and complex hepatobiliary surgeries. She also specialises in anaesthesia of gastro-endoscopic procedures, management of gastro ICU and pre and post-care of liver transplantation.
