The talented team of obstetrics and gynaecologists at the department provide comprehensive treatment, and are capable of supporting women throughout their life starting from pre‐pregnancy period to menopause and beyond. We help pregnant women deliver healthy babies by detecting birth defects and genetic conditions early through targeted ultrasound and giving specialised care in such complex cases. Procedures such as foetal transfusion, selective foetal reduction and prenatal screening are done assisted by state‐of‐ the‐art machineries. The hospital is fully equipped and technologically competent to handle all complicated referrals from other hospitals, even high‐ risk pregnancies. The dedicated foeto‐maternal unit at the centre works in conjunction with other medical departments like paediatric and neonatology to provide quality care for all pregnancy‐related issues.
Co‐ordinated and supportive care is offered for various conditions that affect the women’s lives including pelvic floor weakness, infertility, gynaecological cancers, menopause, and urinary incontinence and so on. She performs all obstetric emergencies like ruptured ectopic pregnancy, rupture uterus, PPH, inversion uterus, etc. She is an expert in doing abdominal & vaginal hysterectomy, myomectomy, onco gynaec surgeries and infertility management.
