Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is a speciality that focuses on surgery for diseases of the mouth, jaw and face. With the state-of-the-art dental clinic, the Department of Dentistry and Maxillofacial surgery at BMH offers personalised dental care. Cancer treatment and radiation can lead to several oral complications, and the department provides timely intervention prior to, during and as a follow up to chemotherapy to treat these complications. Apart from the general dental clinic, BMH has a dedicated specialised clinic for carrying out sophisticated surgical procedures. To improve the oral health of infants and children, the department has specialised paediatric dentistry experts. They are also efficient in providing dental care to kids with special needs like autism, cerebral palsy and Down ’s Syndrome.
