Backed by a panel of highly experienced consultants, the Department of Paediatric Surgery provides world-class, family-centred services for the diagnosis and treatment of congenital malformation, childhood illness and injury. Surgeries are carried out by paediatric surgeons along with other surgeons who specialise in paediatric cases such as Orthopaedic, General, ENT, Urology, Oral and ophthalmological Surgery, etc.
Apart from general surgeries, paediatric laparoscopic surgeries are performed at the department for children with various conditions such as undescended testis, appendicitis, etc. Surgical treatments for paediatric urologic problems like posterior urethral valves, vesico–ureteric reflux etc. are also offered at the department. These surgeries are being performed with an optimal blend of latest technology and a team of highly experienced medical professionals.
