Baby Memorial School of Nursing established in 1995 with a nourishing hostel, offers 3½ years General Nursing and Midwifery Programme recognized by Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council (KNMC) and the Indian Nursing Council (INC).

General Nursing Course conducted in this institution equips the candidates with excellent knowledge and skills enabling them to work in any hospital worldwide. Our 495 bed tertiary care multi specialty hospital facilitates acquisition of excellent practical skills with commitment to quality patient care. Our former students are working across the globe in reputed hospitals, which is a clear testimony to the quality of nursing education provided by this institution.

Duration: 3½ Years Total Seats: 60

Eligibility for admission: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognized equivalent thereto, with 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together, are eligible. In their absence, a pass in +2 examination with any other group as optional subjects with an aggregate of 40% marks will be considered, subject to the decision of the Government. Relaxation of 5% marks will be allowed to SC/ST candidates.

Age: Not less than 17 years

Selection of Students: Strictly on merit as per direction of the Government of Kerala

Medium of Instruction: English

Commencement of Admission and issue of application form:

Application forms are usually issued during the month of May/June every year. Classes are scheduled to start in the month of October. Details will be published on the website and leading newspapers during May/June every year.
