BMH inaugurated breast cancer awareness drive “Breast Cancer – Know it to beat it” on 25th October 2016. Mrs. Uma Behra – City Police Commissioner, Kozhikode was the chief guest for the event. Delivering the presidential address Dr. KG Alexander Chairman and Managing Director of Baby Memorial Hospital emphasized on the importance of early detection. The oncology team at BMH comprising of Dr. Sasindran PR, Head – Department of Radiation Oncology, Dr. Sajeevan, Sr. Consultant – Medical Oncology, Dr. Shaji Ayillath, Consultant – Surgical Oncology, Dr. Vishnu Rajan Nambiar, Jr. Consultant – Radiation Oncology and Dr. Dhanya K.S, Jr. Consultant – Radiation Oncology spoke during the event and answered questions from public. Hussain Cheruthuruthy, Director Wellness Foundation also spoke at the event. The event was well received with more than 300 people participating in the event.
