Neonatology
Our 24 bedded Level III Neonatal ICU is fully equipped with the latest technology, rest assured that your little one is in safe hands.
The Neonatology department at BMH led by highly qualified and experienced Neonatologists takes care of premature neonates as early as 26 weeks and also extreme low-birth-weight babies as low as 600 grams. All new-born babies undergo screening for hearing using AOE testing to diagnose whether the baby has any potential hearing problems. The ultra-modern Level III Neonatal ICU (NICU) with meticulous hygiene and quality aesthetics creates an ambience appreciated by professionals as well as the general public.
Our non-invasive support includes bubble CPAP, high flow devices and oxy blenders. We provide whole body cooling for babies with HIE (birth asphyxia).
Babies with most complex conditions are treated by the expert neonatologists in collaboration with the paediatric specialists and surgeons to ensure optimal care in a family-centred and technologically advanced environment.
We have a dedicated Neonatal transport team including consultant Neonatologist, Paediatrician and trained paramedical staff. We transport preterm babies or babies with complication with utmost care. Our mobile ICU is fully equipped with portable warmers, Infusion/syringe pumps and transport ventilators.
